TIFFIN — Dr. Zachary K. West of the Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine, LLC recently led lectures at the American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI) 2024 Convention held in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The ACOI is a national medical association representing osteopathic physicians specializing in internal medicine and serves over 10,000 current and aspiring internists and subspecialists, according to a release. The theme for the 2024 Convention was “Art to Health: Health, Humanities and Osteopathic Internal Medicine” and offered a wide array of programming that included thought-provoking keynotes and important clinical updates in a variety of subspecialty areas.
Dr. West was invited to lecture on osteopathic manipulative medicine to both resident and student attendees as well as physician attendees. Dr. West holds the honorary degree of Fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI) and is a member of the organization’s Osteopathic Integration Working Group.
“It was an honor to speak at the national convention and to promote osteopathic principles and practices to current and future physicians,” stated Dr. West, in a release.
Dr. West is board-certified in both internal medicine and osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine and is the physician, owner and founder of the Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine, LLC located in Tiffin.
